Game & Company Data

Steam Web API →: Release dates, genres, review scores, review counts, publishers, header images, and short descriptions are fetched via the official Steam Web API (appdetails and appreviews endpoints). Data is updated periodically.

Gamalytic →: Sales estimates (copies sold, gross revenue, owners, wishlists) are provided by the Gamalytic API. These are estimates based on publicly available signals such as review counts and player activity, not official sales data from Valve or the developers. Figures may deviate significantly from actual sales, especially for smaller titles. Gamalytic data is used with permission for non-commercial purposes. Data is updated periodically.

North Data → / similar: Company status (active vs. inactive) is verified via North Data or similar webpages. A company is tagged as inactive when it has been dissolved ("Liquidation"), deleted ("Löschung") or has publicly declared to not be operating anymore.
